SEDA Gala Dinner

The Small Enterprise Development Agency (SEDA) is an agency of the Department of Trade and
Industry, and was established in December 2004.
It is mandated to implement national government’s small business strategy, and assistance is also given to medium sized enterprises and emerging entrepreneurs.
A woman entrepreneur is an individual who identifies opportunities, allocates resources, and
creates value for their clients while still making a profit. This creation of value is often through the
identification of needs or through the identification of opportunities for change. – SEDA Information Booklet
